Mr. Bryans

Billy Bryans has been involved in all aspects of the music business since he started playing drums at age 12. After moving to Toronto (from Montreal) in the 70's , Bryans produced records for acts as diverse as Downchild Blues Band, Lillian Allen, and Punjabi By Nature. He was co-leader of 80's group The Parachute Club and in the 90's was heavily involved with the Toronto world music scene as promoter and publicist. Bryans has worked in television production and as well, is a latin music dj and promoter at clubs such as Maná on College Street and Lula Lounge on Dundas St West. After several years of presenting Cuban artists such as La Charanga Habanera and Los Van Van he has become the manager of the Cuban rapera and jazz/poet Telmary
