Telmary is recording with legendary latin Jazz musician Jane Bunnett
She is presently writing new material and will not be appearing with her 2008 band until April or May.
Meanwhile, arranger/composer/bandleader Roberto Linares Brown has agreed to be the music director for Telmary's upcoming tours in Canada and Europe for this year. Roberto, aka 'El Seña' has performed with Azucar Negra, and was the arranger/pianist for Adalberto Alvarez. Telmary will be performing at the launch party for Roberto's new album, 'No Se Pierde la Consciencia', February 22 at Lula Lounge.
Telmary will also be performing on March 28th with the MuchoFlow Review featuring Yeti Aselin and Netto and other rappers in a night of Cuban hip-hop.
Last year, while in Colombia, Telmary shot a feature film titled Alborada Carmesi diected by Luis Hernán Reina. It is currently in post-production and due to be released by this summer. More details here.
