OK so the details are as follows, Pupy y los Que Son Son will be coming to Eastern Canada between May 7th and May 11th, Sherbrooke 7th, Quebec City 8th, Montreal 9th and Toronto the 10th. The only venue info I have at the moment is for Toronto, where the show will be at Kool Haus (The Guvernment) - where we did Los Van Van.
I'll have promoter and venue info within the week, plus all the ticket info for Toronto. I'll be the publicist for Toronto and will be helping Sophie Giraud with the promotions.
I'm really thrilled, Pupy was the most important of the Cuban bandleaders that I hadn't had an opportunity to work with. To me, Pupy is the heart and soul of that whole music movement - música bailable de Cuba - that is so rich and so rewarding for anyone willing to follow it's path.
