Yoani Sanchez Denied Exit Permit

To their everlasting discredit, the Cuban government couldn't get their shit together enough to let Yoani go accept the award she won in Spain for best digital journalism.

Having Cuba's best blogger standing on a podium accepting the award (and then returning to Havana) would have been a better advertisement for the real changes in Cuba than anything else that has happened since Raul came to power.

But I guess it's too much to ask 75 year old men who grew up in the Soviet Union style bureaucracy of the Cuba government to understand a citizen blogger with something to say.

No offense intended, but the analysis is so simplistic that one doesn´t know where to start explaining...or if it´s even worth it, maybe sticking to cultural events will be a better idea.
What´s happening in this case, it´s the same that´s happening in Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Venezuela (Zulia), Kosovo, Tibet...do you see a pattern here?
Divide and conquer, that´s the motto.

There´s an interesting article on aporrea.org about this, the journalist makes a point, has anyone ever asked where did Yoany got her education from, her computer skills?
It´s another case of caressing someone´s ego, so that they miss the whole picture, just like Goicochea in Venezuela, he received a Milton Friedman award, an excuse to legitimaye injecting money to the opposition, that is called intervening in other country´s sovereingty and accepting that money, it´s treason, be it Canada or any country and thus punishable, yet nobody even touch them.

With comments like this you harm more than you do good, not just a country, but to yourself and every human being, because ironically those you implied are intolerant are even watching for your future.

We have become the product, now wecan´t trust the food we eat, the water we drink, even in the containers from where we eat and drink!! not to mention the pharmaceuticals.

We have been spoiled, not by people who care for us but by people who want to break our wills, our initiative, our curiosity in order to manipulate us... and they have done a great job at it, your comment it´s just a vivid example of that.
Hopefully, there are a lot of people who still are free and conscious thinkers.
