I am enjoying it a lot. In terms of material and sound quality, I'd say it's their best yet.
I've always been intrigued by their sound, with the horns and vocals sounding Van Vanish, but their rhythms coming from a different place. (Which I've always assumed to be Santiago, where they are from)
Their big hit a couple of years back was "Añoranza Por La Conga", and as you can see on the above video for "Arrollando por la Ciudad" they have stayed with that sound. But they also dip into the reggaeton, feature a song with Omara Portuanda and Juan Formell. And for the first time,(as far as I know) they have recorded a flat out salsa hit with the tune "Todos Por El Son"
I downloaded the album from www.cubamusic.com the company based out of Italy specializing in both traditional and modern music. It's a pretty useful service for all kinds of Cuban music.

Sur caribe are credited as being the first to have a major hit based on the conga santiaguera. Añoranza por la conga was recorded with La conga de Los Hoyos. Most neighbourhoods in Santiago have their own conga or comparsa and Los Hoyos is the oldest. The yearly "invasion of the congas" starts with them. Here's a taste of La Conga de Los Hoyos starting off "the invasion".

And this is the conga de San Agustin (also known as charangon de San Augustin)running through their stuff in the cultural centre of Los Hoyos.

P.S. I'm sure you know this Billy, but - if you look up the video of Añoranza por la conga you will recognize a certain Cuban musician now residing in T.O.
